- New Launches… TasteWP, a service to set up WordPress installs for testing and development, has launched a premium option at $3.98 per month per website (yearly), where WP install does not expire and comes with 20 GB space instead of the regular 1 GB. Also, Jeff Starr has released an all-new Simple Ajax Chat Pro plugin for adding unlimited chat forms on a WordPress website.
- Product Updates… LiveCanvas v3 got a big update with the addition of readymade page templates featuring a collection of 60+ Bootstrap 5 based original and lightweight HTML starter designs. Fluent Forms 4.3.9 update added two useful features: hCaptcha field support in the conversational forms and the ability to change column width with a simple drag and drop routine.

- Acquisition Train… Themeisle’s Pirate Forms plugin has been acquired by WPForms and is closing. The existing Pirate Forms users will see the automation migration tool to the WPForms plugin in their WordPress dashboard. Also, the existing pro users of the Pirate Forms plugin will get a one-year license of the WPForms Pro plugin.
- New Integrations… now you send an email newsletter or one-off emails to MemberPress members from within WordPress Dashboard with the new MailOptin integration feature. Also, selling courses and products using Studiocart now support various triggers like new order, lead captured via the free Thrive Automator plugin.
- Dev Focus… here is in-depth information by Ross Wintle on managing WordPress websites with Git and Composer.
