- Pricing WP Products… Pavel Ciorici at WPZOOM is experimenting with monthly pricing for themes and plugins bundle resulting in interesting conversations over at Twitter. While Satinder Singh at Cool Plugins shared the idea of 5 years pricing plan instead of “lifetime”, which generated a lot of curious responses and interest.
- This is Interesting… now you can view revisions of all the content in one place on your website with the Revision Archive feature added to the PublishPress Revisions plugin. Also, check the concept of Hybrid Blocks in the Pinegrow Editor with no block recovery error and a faster React-based editing experience.
- New Launches… WP Ultimo has launched WP Ultimo Next featuring new tools for your Website as a Service (WaaS) platform like types, workflows, studio, access gate, and more. While Gravity Forms is brewing the Gravity SMTP plugin to allow sending of form emails via transactional email services – it is a free alpha release and will be available to Elite license holders after the launch.

- Renaming WP Things… note that Reusable Blocks will be called Patterns from now on with two options: synced and non-synced. Also, the new Command Center has been renamed to Command Palette (and not Wayfinder), coming in the WordPress 6.3 release.
- New Integrations… SureTriggers has added 4 new integrations for BuddyPress, FunnelKit Automation (CRM), Customer(.)io, and Delighted. While DocsBot AI has added Zapier integration allowing automation with many other tools.
- Core Updates… the download of WordPress 6.3 Beta 2 is now available for testing which comes with 500+ new features and enhancements. Also, WooCommerce users can look forward to new product creation experience powered by blocks.
- WP Perspectives… Adam Zieliński explained the reasoning behind building the WordPress playground (WP in Browser), because it is easier than installing WordPress. While Mike McAlister rightly highlighted the name confusion with the progress of the Gutenberg project to the Block Editor and Site Editor.
- WordCamps Action… WordCamp Asia 2024 has been officially announced; it will happen at the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC), Taiwan on March 08, 2024. The call for organisers is now open for WordCamp Europe 2024 scheduled for June 13, 2024, in Torino, Italy. Also, the call for speakers is open for WordCamp Deutschland 2023, Germany, till August 09, 2023.
