WP Security Survey 2024… 2FA & No Auto-Updates
The team at Melapress has published 2024 edition statistics of the WordPress security survey. Among WordPress users, the two-factor (2F) authentication is the most widely adopted security measure. Using security plugins is the preferred method for securing WordPress websites.
Interestingly, 41% of folks do not enforce any password policies whatsoever. Over 70% do not have auto updates enabled for theme and plugin updates. Also, over 55% of folks outsource security management to third party entities.
The State of Headless… 2024 findings
Over 1,015 chief technology officers across the U.S., UK, and Australia were surveyed for ‘The State of Headless‘, commissioned by WP Engine. 79% of organizations already using headless rate their ability to scale as good, compared to 62% of organizations that have yet to adopt headless.
90% of businesses that have adopted Headless say their company is effective at managing organizational change, compared to 76% of businesses that have not made the switch. However, only 28% say – that their organization’s projects are leveraging a headless technology approach with its website(s) or web apps.
