- Own Hosting Platform… the RunCloud team, during WordCamp Europe 2025, announced an all-new Arch by RunCloud platform. Woo Recently Viewed… Alfonso Catron has released a free MATE Recently Viewed Products plugin that allows you to show WooCommerce products that the customer recently visited, even when full-page caching is active. It is compatible with caching plugins like WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, and more.

Pattern Builder… Jason Crist, founder of Twenty Bellows, is working on the Pattern Builder plugin, promising to solve the fundamental problem that WordPress patterns are either great for themes OR great for clients, but never both. It creates ‘synced theme patterns’ that can be shipped with themes and safely updated by clients, and allows users to actually edit any kind of pattern.
Pattern CSS… Kevin Batdorf created (Preview on X platform) a free Pattern CSS plugin that allows you to safely add CSS to your reusable patterns or any random pattern, without the need to create a child theme or use an additional plugin.
New Plugins: Image Converter & Figma to WP
New Image Converter Plugin… Peter from Microbite has launched a new image converter plugin solution, which converts your images into AVIF or WebP format. Also, it automatically removes the original files, freeing up space on the server and reducing overall media clutter.
New Figma to WordPress… Fabian Kägy over at Fueled shared a new open-source Figma to WordPress Automation plugin that can automatically convert the Figma Variables into the theme.json structure for WordPress Themes.

WordCamp Europe 2025: All the Buzz!
WordCamp Europe 2025, the biggest WordPress event in Europe, has wrapped up in Basel, Switzerland. More than 2,000 people attended this event, supported by nearly 250 volunteers. The lead organisers: Laura Sacco, Steve Mosby, and Uros Tasic, made this possible through their eight months of planning.

Announced: FAIR Package Manager Project
The Linux Foundation has announced the FAIR Package Manager Project, which promises to be an alternative repository source for distributing WordPress Themes and Plugins. This project was revealed in a side event (Alt Ctrl Org), held after Day 1 of the WordCamp Europe 2025 event.
