What’s Buzzing in WordPress 💖
- RapidMitigate for Vulnerabilities… the team at PatchStack has launched RapidMitigate, promising to be the next-gen vulnerability mitigation for websites. It deploys fully programmatic rules, each containing multiple complex conditions, and has deep, real-time visibility into the target application.
- Web Auditor Tool… the team at rtCamp has launched the Web Auditor online tool for one-click website performance audits and real-time optimization experiments. It allows you to measure website performance and gain actionable insights for making improvements.
- Plugin Closed + Infringement… Groundhogg, CRM Plugin for WordPress, the free version listed at WordPress .org has been closed. It was shared (Links X), “The WordPress plugin team has closed our repository listing because of trademark infringement (using “WordPress” in the plugin name). The closing triggered a code review, so now we must make changes to MANY files to make the plugin review team happy. We’ll hopefully be back up soon”.
- New Toolbox for WordPress… it has been brewing for a while, and ToolboxWP Project is now live by me (Davinder). The first in the series of toolboxes is the Elementor Toolbox, which will be followed by the Bricks Toolbox (soon). The idea is to build the biggest resource hub for WordPress Professionals, and this is the start.
New Pro Plugins: TableMaster, ClickTock, Gravity Access
TableMaster for Elementor… Simrandeep Singh from Bloompixel has released a new TableMaster Plugin for Elementor users. It allows you to quickly and easily build tables with a drag and drop interface on your Elementor website.
WP Time Tracking… Dave Grey has released a new ClickTock plugin that allows you to track your time directly in the WordPress dashboard, so you always know exactly what to bill clients. The timer runs in your WordPress admin bar, and you can grab a visual report as charts and CSV exports.
Gravity Submit to Access… Gravity Wiz has released a new perk, Gravity Submit to Access, for Gravity Form users. It allows you to set up a functionality where a user submits a form to access exclusive and specific content.

Zero-Bloat Social Sharing… Md Ashar Hussain shared (LinkedIn) about the release of the free ShareLite Plugin, promising to be a zero-bloat social sharing functionality for your WordPress websites. It includes inline and floating share buttons with SVG icon support.
Contributor Photo Gallery… Satyam Vishwakarma has released (LinkedIn) a free Contributor Photo Gallery (GitHub) plugin, which allows you to showcase your photo contributions without any code. Just add your user ID and use shortcode to display the photo gallery on your website.
Modern Author Profiles… make author profiles management easy, check the free Author Kit plugin. It supports multiple authors, guest authors, and allows switching between local avatars and gravatars.

- WP 4.7 to 6.7 Maintenance Releases… the recent WordPress 6.8.2 included security fixes, now these have been made available in the older WP versions. John Blackbourn shared, “If you have sites on these branches and they support automatic background updates, the update process will begin automatically”.
- July WP Core Stats… Jb Audras published aggregate data for July 2025 of WordPress Core contributions on Trac. The WordPress Core team shipped 132 commits with 22 people making their very first contribution. Top countries by contributions were: USA (83), India (68), Russia (49), France (32), and Australia (28).
- Translated WP Version Stats… over 57.339% (+0.126%) of WordPress sites are running a translated version of WordPress. The Polyglots Team shared stats for translation coverage: 210 locales with projects and 131 language packs generated.
- Advanced Query Loop… Ryan Welcher shared about 4.3.0v, which introduces a new post exclusion tool and a completely overhauled Post Meta Queries UI, and a new option for Meta Type.
- Block Accessibility Checks… Troy Chaplin shared about the major update with the 2.0 version of the Block Accessibility Checks plugin. It introduces a new Developer API that lets you integrate in-editor validation from any block – custom, external, or third-party.
- WordCamp US + WP Includes… WordCamp US 2025, the full schedule is now available, starting with Contributor Day (Aug 26), Showcase Day (Aug 27), and then two days of the event (Aug 28 and 29). Also, applications are now open for WP Includes’ mentorship cohort until September 5, 2025 for the next mentorship cohort happening in October 2025.
- WP Milestones… Tanvir Chowdhury shared about Bit Integrations reaching the highest 5-Star review in the WordPress org automation category. The team at Freemius asked folks to share their (Links X) favorite videos, as their YouTube Channel has crossed the 20K subscribers milestone.
