Metorik 2026 Report: Insights for WooCommerce
The team at Metorik published 2026 edition of Metorik Insights for WooCommerce report, built from over 65 million orders in $6.6 billion in revenue, and a randomized sample of 6,000+ WooCommerce stores. It shared insights like: 72% of WooCommerce orders are now placed on mobile, but desktop AOV is 2.3x higher.
Customers 1,000-5,000km away spend roughly 2x more than local buyers, and refund rates have nearly halved, from 2.4% in 2023 to 1.4% in 2025. Interestingly, WooCommerce plugin stack isn’t shrinking – on average 58 active plugins on a Woo store has remained stable.

WooCommerce Payments Issue… Sybre Waaije published (Links X) a detailed overview of potential broken payments for users of WooCommerce Subscriptions. “I doubt any of them know their payments are broken.
