- No Live Event WP Releases… WordPress releases were done during live events like during the State of the Word 2025 and most recently with WordPress 7.1 at WordCamp US 2026. This will be changed towards a live-streamed zoom option for WordPress releases. It was stated, “Tying releases to events has also come with a range of constraints and downsides in terms of complex logistics, managing people power at events, and limits in how many members of a release squad can attend the event itself”.
- WooCommerce Update… WooCommerce 11.1.2v dot release is now available for download. This release fixes an issue with email based reviews. This release also fixes a regression in rendering the product variations’ galleries.
- WordCamp Asia Buzz… be the part and help shape Contributor Day at WordCamp Asia 2027. Also, the call for media partner is now open until November 24, 2026, for WordCamp Asia 2027 scheduled for April 9 – 11, 2027, in Penang, Malaysia.

New Updates: Activity Log Pro, ACPT, & SureContact
Activity Log Pro + Email Logging… 1.2.1v has introduced Email Logging feature, which adds an optional record of outbound mail sent through wp_mail: who it went to, subject, CC, BCC, From, and whether it sent or failed. Bodies and attachments are never stored – it’s metadata for accountability, not a mailbox archive.
ACPT + Custom Content Types… 2.1.0v has introduced Custom Content Types (CCT), which allows you to create and manage fully custom MySQL (InnoDB) tables directly from the ACPT admin. Also, the new Meta Keys Manager lists every meta key in the database regardless of where it came from, with columns for Key, Field type, Context, Associated to, Value, and Actions.

Report into WooCommerce Store Catalogues
Baltano, publisher of the free Merchlint audit plugin, read the public catalogues of 275 Polish WooCommerce stores taken from 19 agency portfolios – stores the agencies themselves show off. Of the 72 with a readable catalogue, not one was clean: 60 had images with no alt text, and 27 had products with no price.
50 of 72 stores had descriptions shorter than 200 characters, 36 of 72 stores still had the sold-out products in the catalogue, 34 of 72 stores had the same description on several products.
